5th Reflection

Learning English is one of the most important language worldwide. There are many way people try to learn the language from school, reading a lot of English book, watching television, and sometimes from the words that they would seen every day or  everywhere for example road sign or a banner. Unfortunately, some of the sign were not using a proper or correct English. It’s important to use  a correct English on the sign or banner because people will read it and some will depend more to the sign if want to buy something or going somewhere. Some people will understand it and some might misunderstood the meaning of the sign or banner. so, as a conclusion people that responsible to do the sign or banner must consider the correct using of English language.

Growing up


1.Procrastination, (Noun)
   Meaning : The action of delaying or postponing something.
   Example : To be a good student, your first tips is avoid procrastination
                     When doing your homework or assignment.

 ( If you delay doing something, it will take longer to do later on).


2.Lackadaisical ( Adjective)
    Meaning : Lacking enthusiasm and determination; without interest,
                     Vigour, Lazy, and indolent.
    Example : He is careless and lackadaisical attitude towards his work.
                       -Ramjet is a lackadaisical young man.


3. selective ( Adjective )
    Meaning : Relating to or involving the selection of the most suitable
                        or best qualified. ( of person ) tending to choose carefully.    
    Example :  -The cow is the selective breeding animal.
                         -He is very selective in his reading.
                        

4.Motivating ( Noun )
   Meaning : The general desire or willingness of someone to do something. Or,
                    Something that motivates, incentive.

  Example :   The salary that Bryan get per month is really motivating him to work
                        harder. 
                        


5.Inspirational ( Adjective)
   Meaning : Providing or showing creative or spiritual Inspiration.
    Example :  Tatiana wants to be a famous teenager singer. Miley Cyrus is her
                      inspirational.        

4th Reflection

LIFE WITHOUT LIMITATIONS


After I watching the clip about ‘Life Without Limitation’ I was pretty amaze with Nick Vujicic and the word that he whisper ‘  I love living life and I am happy’ which it’s have inspire me to appreciate my life more than I do now.
    I think the message that the clip is trying to send is to appreciate  our life more and don’t ever dissatisfy about our physical and other. If we ever face a storm in our life and fallen to the bottom  we must never afraid to stand tall again and must dare to face the problem and finish strong. Never let our weakness destroy us instead we use it as our strength to move on in our life.
   Yes, video clip ‘ Life without Limitation’ really inspired me. When I watch Nick fall I think there’s no way  he can get up again without anyone there to help him. But, I guess I was wrong, he never let his inability to be a barrier. That moment really touch my soul, and at the same time it gave me strength to never let anything to be an obstacle of my life. God’s is good because he gave me a perfection in my life, I should never complain about anything the only thing I should do is to appreciate who I am today and thank God for giving me a chance to live in this wonderful world that he create

5 adjective and its meaning
1.     Breathtaking - very exciting or impressive, very surprising.
2.    Magnificent  - extremely attractive and impressive; deserving praise.
3.    Ordinary – not unusual or different in any way.
4.    Enigmatic – mysterious and difficult to understand.
5.    Remote – far away from places where other people live.
6.    Ancient – belonging to a period of history that is thousand years in the
                 past.

1.     Build – to make something, especially a building, by putting parts together.
2.    Born – to start, to exist
3.    Remain – to continue to be something, to be still in the same state or condition.
4.    Survive – to continue to live or exist, to continue to live to exist despite dangerous event or time.
5.    Move – to change position or to make somebody/something change position in a way that can be seen, heard or felt.

1.     Emperor – the ruler of an empire.
2.    Empire – a group of countries or states that are controlled by one ruler or government.
3.    Ambition – something that you want to do or achieve very much.
4.    War – a  situation in which two or more countries or groups of people fight against each other over a period of time .
5.    Upstart – a  person who has just started in a new position or job but who behaves as if they are more important than other people, in a way that is annoying.
6.    Structure -  the way in which the parts of something are connected together, arranged or organized; a particular arrangement of parts.

3rd Reflection

MACHA PICHU AND CHICHEN ITZA

   The founding of Macha Picchu and Chichen Itzza was a great discovery since both have been abandon long time ago. Now people can enjoy the history of this both cities and also can visit to experience the spectacular sight and historical site of this ancient cities.
 There are a few similarities of Macha Picchu and 
Chichen Itza. First similarities is, Macha Picchu and Chichen Itza were both an ancient city, it been built by using human resources and without technology. Moreover, both are located at a remote area which Macha Picchu were situated at Mountain Ridge above the Urubamba Valley while Chichen Itza were located at northern center of the Yucatan Peninsula. The third similarities is, Macha picchu and Chichen Itza were both comes from a Spanish language since they were located in the same region at Latin America and Caribbean. After that, both of this city also consists a temples, palaces and more. Lastly,   nowadays Macha Picchu and Chichen Itza were both becoming an important tourist attractions.
   Instead of having a similarities, Macha Picchu and Chichen Itza also have a differences which is they have their own identity and uniqueness.  There are a few differences between both of this lost city.The first differences that I’ve got is the location of Macha Picchu and Chichen Itza. Macha Picchu are located at high in the Andres Mountains in modern Peru while Chichen Itza , is located 75 miles east of Merida, the Capital of the State of Yucatan, Mexico. Secondly, is the builder of these city is a different engineer and the Macha Picchu were built by the inc people while Chichen Itza were built Maya civilization. Other than that, the Macha Picchu were situated on a mountain ridge above the Urubamba valley and Chichen Itza are situated in a low land. Then, Macha Picchu are built for the built as an estate for the Inca emperor pachacuti (1438–1472), and Chichen Itza is for the Mayan people lived together. Lastly, the Macha Picchu  city was more towards to be a sacred religious site and the Chichen Itza are more towards cultural.
   As a conclusion, even though both of these ancient city have a similarities or differences, but it stand nowadays with its own uniqueness.    
      If I have a chance to visit any of this ancient city, I more prepare to spend my time visiting Macha Picchu because I more interested the concept of the Macha Pichu. Theres a lot of unique statue, temples and so on. Other than that, the sight of the Macha Picchu have is pretty amazing and breathtaking, it surrounded by the hills, and rivers. Macha Picchu were located ain a remote area, I think it was a best place to search for  calmness and enjoy the surrounding environment.

    Example:

             result

    Meaning : Let have, give the right to, give the opportunity or permission to.
                         = Allow.
    Example:
    A)The student wants to join the competition to prove their talent but didn’t get
           a grant from their headmaster to do it.
    B) To join the picnic with the other friends, sarah need to grant a permission from her
          father.

5. Simultaneously ( Adverb )
     Meaning : At the same time, Concurrently, Overlapping in duration.
     Example:
    A) The pupils answered simultaneously when they asked the question.
     B)  The diplomats put on headphones so that they could listen to a simultaneous   
            translation  of the speech.



6. Spectacular (Adjective )                                                                                                                  
      Meaning : Sensational in appearance or thrilling in effect, Outstanding, Striking.
      Example:
       A) A spectacular fireworks display every New Year and attracted many visitors
             from all over place.
       B) a spectacular sight of the micha pichu  were attracted many people to visit there.

7. Considerably ( Adverb)
     Meaning : Substantially, Well.
     Example:
     A) With a muscular body, he considerably a strong and brave guy.
     B) According from her appearance, she considerably are a fashion designer.





8. Barge (Noun)
      Meaning : A flat bottom boat for carrying heavy loads (especially on canals).
      Example: A)He starts with his ancestor barge to make his business until he became a
                            successful businessman today.
                       B) Fresh bait was being loaded onto the barge.




9. Vessel (Noun)
    Meaning :  A floating craft used for transport over water, Watercraft
     Example: A) To reach to the school, all the pupils have to using the vessel to across to river.
                       B) In order to reach the other island, they need to use a vessel to across the ocean.




10. Riddling(verb )
    Meaning : Relieve from, disembarrass, free
     Example:
      A)To get the best result in his exam, he had to focus and ridding his problems away for his     
          own goodness.
      B) Joana feels more free after riddling with her bank debt.

11. Acronym (Noun )
     Meaning :  A word formed from the initial letters of the several words in the name .
     Example: AIDS is an acronym for acquired immune deficiency syndrome.
